Dons Softball Keeps Rolling
After a shaky start in the top of first inning when Oakland scored its only run, Vanessa Kersten shutdown the Wildcats in a 4-inning affair without allowing another runner to reach base. Vanessa recorded 10 strikeouts and added a 2 for 3 hitting performance, plus 2 RBI's.
Cherice Anderson continued her hitting streak by going 3 for 3, with a triple, scoring 3 times and adding 3 RBI's. Not to be outdone, Alex Downing and Veronica Kersten each had two hits, including a double by Ver. Kersten.
The Lady Dons will be taking a long weekend away from softball to prepare for the upcoming league opener on March 28th.
