Lady Dons Win Third Straight
Not to be outdone, the Lady Dons racked up 17 hits to push their team batting average to .548. Alexandria Downing went 2 for 4, Cindy Truong(3 for 4), Debra Dias(2 for 4), Cherice Anderson(3 for 4), Monica Vides(2 for 4), and Veronica Kersten(3 for 3). The big blow was provided by Vanessa Kersten, a towering triple to straight away centerfield in the fouth inning.
The Dons scored in every inning, and look to improve on their record with a home game against Oakland today at 3:34pm.
